# Negative Stock-in

What happens if stock goes in Negative :- 

* A part is added to a **job card, counter sale, or invoice** even when stock is **not available in the system**.
* The system allows the transaction without blocking the process.
* The item quantity moves into **negative stock**.
* When stock is added later through **Stock In**, the negative quantity is **automatically adjusted**.

**How Negative Stock Is Used (Common Cases):**
* When parts are **physically available** but not yet updated in inventory.
* During **urgent or emergency repair jobs** where work cannot be delayed.
* When parts are **purchased and used on the same day**.
* In high-volume workshops where **inventory updates are done later**.
* When correcting temporary **inventory mismatches**.
