Negative Stock-in
What happens if stock goes in Negative :-
- A part is added to a job card, counter sale, or invoice even when stock is not available in the system.
- The system allows the transaction without blocking the process.
- The item quantity moves into negative stock.
- When stock is added later through Stock In, the negative quantity is automatically adjusted.
How Negative Stock Is Used (Common Cases):
- When parts are physically available but not yet updated in inventory.
- During urgent or emergency repair jobs where work cannot be delayed.
- When parts are purchased and used on the same day.
- In high-volume workshops where inventory updates are done later.
- When correcting temporary inventory mismatches.
